Who is Victor Salvatti?
Victor is a composer, interpreter, guitarist and singer from Brazil; he began his musical career in 1997, when he was only 15 years old. With previous studies, dedicating himself and paying close attention to what goes on in the streets of Sao Paulo, his hometown, Victor is privileged to have studied singing under the instruction of Paullina Montalbo and guitar with Euclides Marques. Also taking part in the choir of USP (University of São Paulo) during two years, under the instruction of Andre Juarez.
After a successful musical career in Brazil, in 2004, he decided to travel to Barcelona with the objective to share his work in Europe, sharing his music, culture and essence with the whole world and all its different cultures.
Why Music?
Because music is the only thing that makes him wake up every day, with a plan: with a mission that his music will bring happiness and peace to everybody who hears it, music makes him feel complete and gives him a purpose in the materialistic world in which we live.
What characterizes him?
Victor is a person full of energy and very driven. He is happy, sensitive, sincere, enthusiastic, simple and honest. He especially values his friends, family and all the people who have helped him along his path, understanding these values to be essential in the life of any person. Knowing that alone we can never get anywhere.
What is his Aim?
To fight for a better world, where people do not hold so much value in money and have confidence in themselves and others. Noting that these days people spend a lot of time only thinking in themselves, and trample over others, oblivious that life is a circle, doing things the right way, means that good things will come back to us, and the opposite is also true.
He wants to help people realize that believing in themselves and being strong will help make dreams come true, realizing that we are not alone, and that to succeed we must help ourselves.
He wishes to give the public an immense amount of happiness, peace, and positive energy so that when they listen to his music, they have the sensation that they are floating, as if his music is a way to disconnect from the problems in this world. Everybody needs to disconnect from time to time, allowing us to see things from the outside, from another perspective, helping us to solve and enrich our lives.
Who are his public?
They are all the people who want to be happy, and feel good about life. For Victor, age isn’t important, nor gender, color of their skin or nationality, what is important is that they are people looking for something in their existence: People who want to be happy, whom have positive energy and peace in their lives.
What is his Work?
Five years ago Victor Salvatti took Barcelona by storm with his great musical talent, he has played in some of the most recognized concert halls in the city and its surroundings. Victor reaches a variety of audiences, Brazilians who feel a tremendous nostalgia for their country, as well citizens of the world who are interested in Brazilian music and culture.
Victor genially mixes the traditional Brazilian music (Samba rhythms, baiao and maracatu) with fusions that go from Jazz to Funky and other styles such as Rock and Pop.
The recently debuted single “ Vida Boa” is the anticipation for his work on a future album, a album that demonstrates his maturity as a guitarist, vocalist and composer, where we will be able to find edited copies that allow us to hear some of his most important musical influences.
